The recent DTI report into vehicle servicing says that as many as 40% of motorists feel let down by a garage and that only 17% actually shop around based on price - most look for a garage that they can trust! Furthermore, as many as 28% of garages could well close down over the next few years if they fail to bridge the gap between giving the customers what they want and making a profit.




What is it?

To help some garages bridge this gap. The Industry Standard Service provides garages with a framework in which to service customers vehicles up to a recognisable standard. Garages who adopt the Industry Standard Service routine are registered as members of the Good Garage Scheme.
